Cahill Lookout This lookout is stop on the HOHO bus route. Just a short drive away is Cahill lookout. This is a great place to get your head around how vast the Blue Mountains region is. From this point, you can see the Jamison Valley to the right and the Megalong Valley to the left. The view of the Narrow Neck Peninsula is particularly good. Cahill Lookout has a small number of steps Tip: Public transport: Bus 686 from Katoomba stops 10 mins walk from the lookout. It is a hidden jam and popular to photographers for sunset scenes. Overlooking the gigantic Megalong Valley, Cahill’s Lookout is one of the most impressive lookouts in the Blue Mountains, but without the big tourist crowds. Quietly tucked away along the westernmost point of Cliff Drive, the lookout offers breathtaking views of the valley, Megalong Head, Boars Head Rock and the Narrow Neck Peninsula.

Spectacular lookout over Boar's Head and Narrow Neck Plateau. Strangely very scenic with the blackened and burnt banksia's and other native trees near the lookout.

While most of the lookouts are south facing, Cahill's Lookout faces more west providing a different perspective - it will also be much quieter.
