Bearfence Rock Scramble features an intense scramble that should not be taken if wet or icy! This 1.1 mile round trip hike takes you to a magnificent 360-degree view of the Virginia Piedmont and Shenandoah Valley. Bearfence Viewpoint takes you to a 180-degree view of the Shenandoah Valley without a rock scramble. This 1.1 mile route is rated Easiest on the Shenandoah's Hiking Difficulty scale.
