Tasty sliders in a former cop bar. Unpretentious, and affordable but often busy especially on weekends
Looking for sliders, go nowhere else, weekly sliders specials. Good beer selection also
Fun dinner spot. $3 sliders and cheap beers. Great for groups or for date night.
Top notch sliders that are nationally rated as well, great for groups, affordable and fun menu, good selection of beers and cocktails.
Our personal favorite. Cool vibes, nice bar with all drinks and whole menu basically under $3. A la carte sliders of all gourmet varieties, poutine, mac & cheese, and a wonderful Mint Julep. Waits for dinner here as well but (pro-tip) host waaaay over estimates wait time. Bar is 1st come, 1st serve.
“Amazing ramen noodle spot. You'd never think ramen could be so fancy. Cool atmosphere and great service overall. Right under the ambassador bridge kinda out of the way, so a good spot if you wanna be near the action of Corktown but dont wanna wait too long for a table.”
“Not only does this place have a great selection of beer brewed on site and yummy pub food, they give us their spent barley to use to feed our pigs and chickens!”
“The neighborhood's pizza joint, the best known in Detroit. Margharita is my favorite! ”
“We love getaways to Belle Isle, a massive city park in the middle of the Detroit River! The circumference of the island is roughly 6 miles, a lovely drive or bike ride or run. Trails, athletic fields, an indoor conservatory, one of the oldest aquariums in the US, a nature center, a beach, driving range, multiple playgrounds... ”
“Mudgie’s is a restaurant in Detroit’s historic Corktown neighborhood, serving only the highest-quality food, fine cocktails and spirits, 100+ beers, and boutique wines. They use local products anytime they can and roast their meats in house. If you're in town the 3rd week of July, go down for Lobster Roll week!”
