Barbacoa’s culinary delights are a tribute to the rancher and cowboy of the Pacific Northwest. Basically, “Barbacoa” as a restaurant celebrates the influence of: The Vaqueros of Spain The Gaucho of Argentina The Llanero of the Brazilian Plains The Charro of Mexico
THE most unusual, eclectic restaurant we and most of our friends have ever seen. Excellent food, beautiful setting, wonderful happy hour specials. Check out the patio for a few cocktails and appetizers while overlooking a lake.
Barbacoa is my favorite restaurant in Boise. You will probably need a reservation, so plan in advance. The food and service is great and the decor is unique. It's a must go.
Nicer restaurant with a fun atmosphere. If you like steak I highly recommend the Hot Rock Filet. The steak comes out mostly cooked on a very hot rock that you finish cooking to your liking.
The food is so good. The atmosphere is lively and unique. We like to sit at the bar tables. I order appetizers or soup and salad here. On occasion I’ll order a meal with my dinner date. I also like to get their soups and salads.
“Great bar and quality Mexican food. Happy Hour, 4-6 features great food items and limited drink specials. Patio seating available if you're lucky enough to grab it.”
“Looking for a great cocktail, food, atmosphere, and local favorite? Bardenay is the place! Great for families, with a large variety of menu options to satisfy any eater. ”
“So we have a Ruth's Chris now but this is like the local version of that. If you have some money you really want to spend, then this is the place for you!”
“The Old State Pen is a great place to visit for all types of people. Whether you just like history or want to see the Ridge to Rivers Trail System that this location connects with, it's a blast. There have been concerts at this location, brewery events and Halloween gatherings here as well. Keep and eye on facebook to see upcoming events. ”
