This is great for foreigners who want to enjoy a meal with a african-german atmosphere.
This is the meat palace - and Namibian meat, especially the beef, is very, very good. Just the decor and setting in a huge but intimate court yard is worth it. I advise booking in advance, as it is is very popular.
Great food and atmosphere in a fantastic setting. Child friendly. Booking recommended.
“Yummy food with lots of local content, relaxed but buzzing ambience. Chef Christie Keulders writes a food column for the Namibian newspaper and knows all there is to know about indigenous Namibian food. however, he does not serve traditional fare, but modern health- and not-so-health-conscious food.”
“Best food in town with a big wine selection in a romantic setting. Also has a pizza restaurant and coffee shop/deli on the same premises for breakfast and lunch.”
“If you're looking to get your fix of Namibian history, take a walk past Alte Feste and the monuments surrounding it.”
“There's always something interesting on display at the National Art Gallery. Discover the arts of Namibia and beyond.”
