Great museum depicting the history of the area including the development from farming to world-famous ski area

This place is great - really! Downstairs they cover the history of hill farming. Upstairs they talk about the amazing Plan Neige that revolutionised skiing in France, and probably the world.

For non-skiers, bad weather days or of you're just having a day off the slopes, the museum in the village is well worth a look. It costs just 3€ and has three floors of well presented information about the history of the area and the development of the ski industry. English audio guides are available.
