A feast for your eyes, this exquisite restaurant is located inside the Exclusive Books store (walk straight through to the back from the entrance, past the coffee bar and enticing coffee table books.) The tasting menu is excellent value - priced per couple it was about R350 last time I went. They give you the chef's selection of dishes - sharing is caring in this scenario. So much food that we could not eat it all - everything was delicious and a little bit adventurous! With beautiful views across joburg - try for a table by the floor to ceiling windows. Probably the best value "posh" restaurant in Joburg at the moment. Its certain to impress a date or a crowd of visitors to the city.

Exclusive Books in Hyde Park shopping Centre is the chains flagship bookstore, and is fabulously well stocked with all the latest bestsellers, local and international magazines and an outstanding resaurant called Social Kitchen.

It's down the road from the cottage and has great books, a good restaurant and coffee bar.
