The Children’s Museum of the Upstate
Great kids museum, with lots of educational, hands-on and very fun activities!
If you’ve got kiddos and need a fun place to spend the day, this is the place!
Makes for the perfect ( rainy day) activity. Let your kids play and explore over three floors of fun!
The Children’s Museum is one of the best downtown family destinations in Greenville. It is an expansive museum has an impressive collection of exhibits geared to children of all ages.
Since we don’t have children yet, I haven’t seen the amazingness that is this Children’s Museum but from all I’ve heard from my friends with kids, its hands-on displays and kid-focused exhibits make it a must for anyone visiting with children!
An amazing place for any age child where they have transitioning exhibits and many play stations. Three levels of learning and inspiration! Also a great thing to do on a rainy/cold/hot day! Closed Mondays
“Far more than a nature lover's paradise, Falls Park on the Reedy, located in downtown Greenville's Historic West End, is one of Greenville's greatest treasures. The park serves as an oasis within the city - a place where people gather to work, play and celebrate life. The multi-use facility lends itself to a wide variety of activities for people of all ages and interests.”
“Nothing like this anywhere. Largest Religious art gallery in the world in Greenville SC!”
“Fluor Field at the West End is a 6,700-seat baseball-only stadium in Greenville, South Carolina that opened on April 6, 2006. Designed by architectural firm DLR Group, it was built as a new home of the Greenville Drive baseball team, the A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.”
“Free on Sunday afternoons, and they often have live music. Nice art museum with rotating exhibits, go to their website for what they currently are exhibiting.”

“A local theater on the Southside of downtown, Centre Stage often has great plays at a great price. The local talent is astounding! We have seen multiple plays there and highly enjoyed them.”
