Bill's Hot Dogs opened in Washington in and quickly became a local favorite. They stay true to their roots by only serving Carolina Bright hotdogs that are fried before resting on a warm bun and being smothered with Bill's signature white chili, mustard, and onions. Don't forget your bag of chips and bottled soda, which come with two hot dogs as a special.

An eastern NC legend - now with a food truck serving Belhaven every Monday in the parking lot beside Food Lion - and worth the drive to "Little Washington" to grab a bag. Head to the original location on the waterfront and expect a wait. You get your choice of "all the way" (mustard, onions and their famous white bean chili) or maybe just mustard and onions, or just chili, or maybe mustard and chili is your thing, or just plan. Whatever you decide there is NO KETCHUP so don't ask. Grab a bag of chips and a cold bottle of coke or pepsi, pay (cash or card) and then step out front, grab a bench on the sidewalk and......enjoy!

Just around the corner from "318," Bill's is world famous for the hotdogs with white chili. A little spicy! Folks come from far and wide. Plan to eat more than one.
