Handicraft House is a popular destination for locals as well as visitors. It’s located north of Wiarton. They offer a wide array of Canadian crafted goods from preserves to leather and suede, slippers, bird houses, soaps, the list goes on! Their products are always a unique find. They also have a flea market on Sundays.

A historic and unique favourite summer spot, the Handicraft House is a great spot for shopping for souvenirs, First Nations themed products (I can't guarantee anything is locally made), and experience this unique building. A fun pitstop on your way up the peninsula!

This is a wonderful stop to make, lots of gifting options! Only a short 10min drive from Sunny Side Up. Native arts, souvenirs, hand made preserves, rustic collectables just to name a few things. Early Sunday mornings there is also an outdoor flea market where you might be lucky to also gather some local produce and handmade goodies. (*may not have market due to COVID)
