Take the East River Ferry to this great park in Long Island City in Queens. Nice walk, cool places to hang out, and lots of street food vendors.

The best view of entire Manhattan , during the day nice place to walk, bike, jug, , take a tour with a small boat that stops on the west side 34th street to get to Manhattan . This park is new, well positioned and new high buildings with superb Manhattan view. Great view where one can watch the sun raising and sun set over the skyscrapers of the beautiful Manhattan. All in all i think due to the opening and the position is the most amazing place where one can go any time of the year any hour of the day and i think at night as well. Nature , grass , view, all kind of people, family oriented place as well, live music and the best of all PEACE and QUIET , even when very crowded.

From here, you can see a fantastic view of Manhattan from the waterfront. The park is situated next to the East River in the Hunter's Point section of Long Island City. There is a playground, volleyball net with sand, a coffee bistro place, and a boardwalk.
