Fun park in Bristol, VA for hiking, mountain biking, and frisbee golf. Another nice area for day hikes and picnics.

Sugar Hollow Park has a variety of areas for walking. The marsh area is especially lovely or the trails up through the woods. They also offer a dog park with large dog & small dog fenced areas, a soccer field, baseball, and a small playground.

Great ambling and shady trail, three mile long, out and back trail. This is a generally wide trail & an easy hike, however there are a couple places where it will cross the stream, so be prepared with appropriate footwear. The main destination is a swimming hole with some small waterfalls. Continue onward for a longer stroll or to find a private stream area for swimming or picnicking. This is a well shaded hike and is appropriate for carriers or walkers, but not for strollers.

This is a great park. Drive all the way to the back and pay $1 to go to the shaded playground and fun in the creek!
