Very cool space and great way to learn about the history of the growth of Houston through water.
Just a short walk over Sabine Street bridge. Easy access to the bayou trails and to downtown
Fascinating tour on its history, and play on interior space and sound. Tour guides are entertainingly sardonic.

As one of the city’s early underground reservoirs, it supported the municipal water system’s goals of fire suppression (water pressure) and drinking water storage.
