Samlesbury Hall is a stunning stately home in the heart of Lancashire. Built in 1325 as a family home, it is beautifully maintained and retains its original black and white exterior. The hall and grounds are open to the public free of charge with guided tours free on Sundays. Find out how honey is made at the Bee and Heritage Centre. Beekeepers are on site most Wednesdays and Sundays to answer questions and show visitors around. You will also find a gift shop, restaurant and Dottie's Wafflery serving decadent desserts, mouth-watering milkshakes and locally made ice cream. The hall is closed on Saturdays. Check opening times before visiting.
