The Grand Hyatt is a short walk down the path from Poipu Point resort. We've tried all their restaurants, our favorites being the Ilima Terrace and the Seaview Terrace. Beautiful views with professional but easy-going service. We go there when we're in the mood for a more upscale meal, or we don't feel like cooking. Over the years we have also enjoyed the Hyatt's showstopper Luau, as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas Brunch - a real blow-out with amazing delicious buffets...

The Hyatt up the road has a wonderful breakfast buffet. In the morning (9-10 am) they feed the koi fish (it’s not at that restaurant - it’s farther down the property). Kids always love this because they give them little packets of food to feed the fish!
