A short drive West on Rt 28 -- past Boiceville, Lots of great information, on going activities & events. Visitors Center - New ! Replica Fire Tower !! & Great walk, hike up the hill, or check out the Parking Area on the Esopus side - across from visitors center.

Nice, flat half mile loop path through the property, with an extra bit to the stream on the other side of 28. They also have a full sized firetower so you can check out this cool historic feature of the Catskills without climbing a mountain. Trail is perfect for small kids and folks with mobility issues.

Only 5 minutes drive- very interesting center revealing the storied history of the Catskills and the natural world around. Nice easy woodland hike and you can even climb a historic fire tower. Fun!
