Some of the best walks in the mountains. Visit tourist info for guide maps and advice on suitable walks. My favourite is the Grand Canyon walk. About 4 hours.
National Pass is closed between Valley of the Waters and Slacks Stairs due to rockfall. From Wentworth Falls picnic area, you can walk the upper section of this loop walk, atop the escarpment, for epic lookouts with sweeping views of the waterfalls and Jamison Valley.
The Glenbrook entry to the national park is a short drive or walk from your studio. Entry fee is about $7 for cars. Walking and cycling is free entry. Euroka clearing is a great spot for a picnic, with woodfire bbqs and tables. There are some great short walks around the area. Check with the park…
“Lovely views at the top, accessible by foot or driving. If you park at the bottom it's approx 1 hr walk up hill (depending on fitness level). Alternatively you can drive to the top and then there is a short walk out on to the platform on the rocks. ”
