Estrella Mountain Regional Park
We’ve hiked in the Regional Park a number of times on numerous trails. If you hike in the heat, bring plenty of water...and I would say do that anyway! Stop at the Park Center and grab a hiking map...and I’d you haven’t already downloaded the All Trails app...do it, just in case you need some mobile…
This park is so beautiful. It has an awesome playground, good hikes, a nature center, and camping areas. There is more to this park than meets the eye, and it is well-maintained by the rangers overseeing it!
Great easy, yet scenic hikes. You can also camp here if you'e a camper. If you're up for an easy relatively flat hike with decent views this is a good choice for you. This park does have a $6 entry cost. Sometimes the booth person is gone and they let you park free (weekdays usually).
“Excellent golf course of the neighbourhood. Friday and Saturday nights there is an outstanding chef dinner. Reservations are highly recommended as seating is limited”
“Great selection of beers. The Chile Verde is outstanding, Green Chili Mac & Cheese, Pastrami, Rueben and Fries are great. ”
“15 minute drive but definetely worth it. This golf club has some stunning views of the White Tank mountains and the desert. Really love playing this course. ”
