The Lift-Asansör as we call is a historical lift made to connect two streets. It has the best view of İzmir at the upper end of the lift. Though there is not much to do there except watching the city from up, it always amuses me to see İzmir that way. There is also a cafe offering alcohol, too but…

This state agora was connected to commercial agora in the harbor by means of a wide street in the north direction. İzmir Agora is the biggest state agora inside the city.”
