This is a little neighborhood bar, maybe 3 train cars wide, and every first and third Tuesday they have open mic night. They have their wine and whatnot and it's new comics and medium-level comics going up and doing their material at different stages—developing it. It's a live scene. The third Thursday of the month, Jeff Horste and Esther Nevarez host the Jester Comedy Show here. When they do, there are drink specials from 8 to 10 p.m.

“Smaller indie new bookstore with perfectly hand-curated selection. Out of the way, but drive through the historic neighborhoods to the north of it while you're there. (Detroit - 20 min away)”
“A local watering hole that has some great music/dance parties. There is a small grill inside that serves unique hot dogs with vegan options. This place recently reopened after a true David vs Goliath situation. None of the buildings surrounding the bar were there a couple years ago but when they were being built, construction workers cracked the side of the UFO Factory "accidentally", nearly knocking a whole exterior brick wall down. It was more widely known that the developers wanted the land and were most likely trying to put the local favorite out of business so it could be torn down and built on. UFO fought back and won millions of dollars in a settlement and reopened after being closed for a year.”
“We grew up eating here. Detroit style pizza at its finest! This is a must try. ”
“Half Mexican, half Italian and delicious. The story goes, a Mexican-American was trained in a high-end Italian kitchen to make pasta. He left the restaurant to start his own, where he cooked his cultural cuisine, but the clientele who knew him demanded pasta, and so he split the menu in two. SO GOOD.”
