My Guidebook would not be complete without a recommendation to visit the Treatery if you happen to be in Howick. My favourite for breakfast tea or lunch. Closes at 4. Admire the shops next door or visit the Blackwood Nursery.

Yard 41 is vibe and intimate in character with only a few key shops including the much loved The Farmers Daughter, Blackwoods Nursery, Ruby Orchard for gifts and decor as well as the Pyga cycle store with a hairdresser next door.
