The nearest local good cafe. try this one first and then venture further to College Road or jump on overground to Kensal Rise or Brondesbury Park to walk down to Queens Park. Or jump on No 18 bus along Harrow Road to Ladbroke Grove and walk to Golborne Road and Portobello Road. Great family breakfast at all locations.

Very good coffee and music. Becomes a pizzeria and wine bar in the evenings.

This stylish cafe has a large, sunny terrace and is owned by two house music DJs, so you can guess what's playing on the sound system. Great for brunch - but not after 3pm, when it's just cakes and coffee (or a toasted sandwich if you're lucky). Open in the evening until 10.30 (good selection of wines and beers and artisan pizzas). Closed on Mondays.

Great for coffee in the morning or weekend brunch. Pizza later on. Sometimes have events like live music over the weekend.
