AquaDom is the largest cylindrical saltwater aquarium in the world and is in the DomAquarée in Berlin-Mitte. It consists of an acrylic glass container of 16 feet height and 11.5 meters in diameter.

5,000 sea creatures live in this exciting aquarium Once you’re in the aquarium, you can attend one of the many feeding demonstrations and educational sessions conducted by the aquarium employees. Other exciting attractions include a ride through the aquarium’s AquaDom and a chance to walk through its Neptune mirror maze. There is even an interactive rockpool that allows guests to participate in activities involving starfish and crab shells. A large number of the animals found at this aquarium are on the endangered list while some have been bred and born in the aquarium as part of the conservation project the aquarium runs, called Sea Life. The Sea Life project is responsible for running events throughout Berlin while the purpose of the project is to protect the world’s seas and oceans as well as the animals that live there. The Sea Life project also tries to raise awareness for issues such as animal population changes, global warming and man made threats. As such, it helps to save seals and other marine animals that may be in distress. The AquaDom & Sea Life Berlin offers educational services for school field trips. Parents can also schedule their child’s birthday party at the aquarium. Admission: €17.95 for adults, €14.50 for children 3-14, free for children under 3. Reduced prices online.
