Central Texas BBQ without I-35
Barbecue Restaurant - Easily the best brisket in DFW. Awesome bark, great smokey flavor. The ribs are awesome. Cool little joint in a cool neighborhood. The food counter is in the back to the right of the bar. Can't wait to go back.
Experience some authentic Texas bbq. Order the ribs or the brisket. You can't miss a chance to taste some true Southern bbq.
If you aren't from Texas then you need to eat BBQ while you are here. Lockhart delivers some of Dallas' absolute best. We recommend the brisket (because this is Texas, after all) and whatever they have as the special of the day.
Our favorite Texas bbq spot. You’ve gotta try their brisket! Prepare to shower after because the smokehouse bbq aroma sticks to everything.
“Happening spot for thin-crust pizzas, plus salads, sandwiches, pastas & microbrews.”
“Oak Cliff has a casual vibe. That’s what we love about the neighborhood. I’m a fan of eating high-quality food, made by professionals with good ingredients, without the pressures of a high-end restaurant (though I deeply respect chefs that offer that experience) You should be enjoy great food without having to wear a suit. Zen also serves a full vegetarian menu and plenty of cooked options. They try to offer something for everyone. ”
“It's a neighborhood favorite. Chef Matt Balke does great work. Tuesday nights are 1/2 price bottle of wine nights, that with a flat bread is a great dinner. ”
“Indie bookstore & cafe offering a titles, coffee, & music. Indoor & patio seating. Free Wifi.”
“The owner Katherine Clapner beat Bobby Flay on his show. This store has all kinds of different chocolates like chocolate-shaped like brains. Occasionally, one of the ink master judges who has a store down the street comes into this store. ”
