If you're a coffee enthusiast, this is a must stop. Trade and Lore has probably the best and most knowledgeable barista staff in town. They also have a cozy space for getting work done or couches for lounging. They also offer beer, wine, snacks, and a fun patio!

Chill cafe & community event space serving locally roasted coffee & light bites from area purveyors. Drop in for a coffee while sightseeing, but if you need a spot to work from your laptop, this is a good place with wifi. Open until 10 pm a few nights per week if you'd like to drop by for an after-dinner coffee or tea.

Possibly Asheville's best coffee spot. They make their own syrups for lattes, and they're not too sweet! Great interior. Occasional events like music or pop-up shops inside.

Great coffee spot on Wall Street. If you find yourself in the downtown area needing some java look no further. Check out Laughing Seed Café across the street for some of the best vegan and vegetarian fare Asheville has to offer.

This chill and hip cafe serves locally roasted coffee & locally sourced small bites, as well as a variety of espresso drinks. We also really enjoy the good vibes and friendly staff here. Trade and Lore is located on Wall Street, one of favorite streets in downtown Asheville. Check out their website for their hours.
