Mexican fusion spot with fun patio and good margaritas. The street corn is delicious. Gets mixed reviews, but we've always enjoyed our meals here.
A new and hip restaurant located in the Belmont area of Charlottesville. Great cocktails, apps, amazing Sunday brunch, and affordable! Indoor and outdoor seating available. Another perk is that they have parking spaces in the back. Walk-ins welcome but you can make reservations too.
“While this little spot doesn't loo like much the owner/cook/baker knows how to make fabulous food -this is his simple fare that usually has a wonderful twist on casual food. Great for breakfast/lunch or a snack. ”
“Sushi, ramen, poke… easy walk from house and right beside Three Notched Brewery. Can you say “sake slushie”!?”
“Another great trail. About 1/2 hour drive. Follow the road to the end, park, and walk left to cross the river.”
Home Goods Store
“This is more of a home goods store than a clothing store, but there are a few racks of really gorgeous clothes, mostly linen. Lovely, lovely store: think grey, white, tan, and natural wood.”
“OKAY, some of my friends roll their eyes when I bring up La Taza, but I can't get enough of their breakfast tacos and breakfast potatoes. If you're here on the weekend and are willing to wait a little while (because they are usually busy), it's worth the wait. If you're lucky and you are here during the week, you'll have no problem getting a table or placing a take-out order! If you want to enjoy a nice cold drink around a fire conversing with locals, check our the Tikki Bar at La Taza. It's an outside bar with a tropical theme and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Belmont.”
