If you think that Dallas is all about heat, you should go and check out the Dallas Zoo to experience their Snowfari Camp Adventure. Instead of waiting for summer to take your kids to a typical Safari zoo, you can give them an educational and exciting trip this winter where they can learn about the different animals and other fascinating things about nature.

We went during the beginning of February (yes it was a bit cold) but the animals were all out! We were so happy to see all the animals and get to witness the elephant & hippo chat. Even took some time for lunch and ate by the elephants exhibit. Parking was perfect. Price was doable. Staff were very nice and open to all questions. Bathrooms were stocked. Gift shop was equipped with all your favorite animal souvenirs in which our folks from out of state got to take home to show off. The freeway construction was not the greatest but as soon as you park it is as if you are entering another world!
