The Library of Congress is an intellectual's dream and a testament to the best things about Western Civilization. It offers a lot to satisfy those interested in research, education, history, American and Western heritage, architecture, and art. It's inner décor is absolutely dazzling, and there are…

The largest library in the world and one of the most prestigious, the stunning Library of Congress sits in three buildings and houses over 160 million items. It is also the oldest federal cultural institution in the U.S.

Probably one of the most overlooked Smithsonian museums. I like it because it’s interesting and quick. You can be in and out in 30-45 min, check out the Gutenberg bible.
