My daughter loves this architectural giant of an art gallery. The underground space called the Tanks, on the right of the Turbine Hall, is her favourite. Dedicated to video and interactive art, it’s totally immersive for children, and I enjoy exploring art genres I wouldn’t normally engage with. There’s a “drawing bar” on level one in the Boiler House where anyone can take a seat at a digital sketch pad and get drawing. My daughter and I have spent hours here—she never tires of seeing her digital drawings projected on the wall.

Tate Modern is an art gallery located in London. It houses the United Kingdom's national collection of international modern and contemporary art, and forms part of the Tate group together with Tate Britain, Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives.

Bus 381 also passes Tate Modern, one of the most visited museums in London. Make sure to check out in advance which artists are exhibiting their work to avoid disappointment on the day if fully booked.

Be sure to visit the Tate Lates if you're visiting London on the last Friday of the month. They showcase cool exhibitions, upcoming artists and musicians and are free with a booking!

The Tate Modern is a must see landmark of London. Not only is the largest modern art museum in Europe, but it also has 2 cafés at the top which gives a magnificent view of the London skylight, and they are free and open to the public.

An incredibly child friendly modern art gallery. The Turbine Hall, with its super long ramp, is especially great for kids as it’s enormous. Get the Uber boat from Chelsea Harbour / Battersea Power Station for a really fun day out.
