This is a pub (don't know why there's no 'Pub' choice on Airbnb!). The Forest Gate is a great local Freehold pub - the landlord runs it like a good old fashioned pub. He frowns on mobile phone use but serves great ales and hearty bar snacks and food. It's a great spot to park up and then go for a walk in Epping Forest 100m away. Popular with walkers and dog owners.

Great new independent Coffee Shop in forest gate on end Sebert Rd, close to station, so you can grab a hot cup before jumping the train to L'pool st - also there is a farmers market here on Saturdays
