High end chinese restaurant and market within walking distance on Broadway. Its big and active and is much higher quality than any of the other store or restaurants that are its immediate neighbor.. Great duck, sim sum and they have a large open kitchen with a rotating menu. Market - gift shop has well curated collection of cooking books utensils and food items. If you want Chinese food this will be more expensive but make up for it in ambience and quality of food.. 2nd floor is a bar - pretty darn cool and new (2017)

Where to start...OK, first, this place is huge so showing up without a reservation at 7 on a Saturday night is no problem. Several different seating areas in a super cool, modern space - dumpling bar, communal table, main hall - so it doesn't feel cavernous, even though it is. Second, this is not your normal goopy, gloppy, pour over white rice, MSG laced chinese food. This is fresh, beautifully presented(but not pretentious) and thoughtfully paced food so you can enjoy each dish on it's own. Food for the adventurous along with favorites you'd expect. Third, it's not terribly expensive. I've spent half this much on burritos and this was WAY better. ~$30/per person with a drink.
