"Kavana Lvxor": A bit pricey coffee and wine experience at the epicenter of historical Split. But it is worth every 'lipa' in the summer evening when live music plays.

I recommend this expensive caffe/restaurant because of its interior. Inside you can see old Roman walls and columns and the Temple of Venus. It is settled inside a cafe on Peristil square, a well preserved medieval loggia. The base of the Temple of Venus is marked by a circular marble floor just as you enter.

Experience having a drink at Peristil, the place where emperor Diocletian used to speak to the people, a scene which is today recreated daily by actors. In the evening there's usually excellent live music.

Take your coffe out on the historic stairs of Peristil square. Ps. Interior is really nice as well!
