Good artistic outlet during your stay. Mary Hong is a true gem. She's a local artist who works with glass and resin to make stunning pieces. Her shard shop in Destin or Grayton Beach is a fun activity if you'd like to try your hand at the craft.

Grab a canvas, then create your art with the provided glass. Yes, the glass is the “paint”. After you are done, at night, the studio would pour the resin on your art work, to “glue” everything in place. Usually, your final product is ready for pick up the next day.

Come to the beach, make a memory, and take home a beautiful piece of art. Sea glass and paint on a canvas in a design of your choosing or the assistants can help you design something. I recommend calling ahead because sessions fill up quick during peak summer times. If you aren’t interested in making something yourself, there are pieces available for purchase in the gallery.
