This is the halfway point along the Greenway (46kms total) between Waterford City and Dungarvan. It's a nice spot to hire bikes or grab a snack. The 23 kms to Dungarvan is a good enough length ride without being overly strenuous and by far the best scenery. Relax in Dungarvan over lunch before heading back. This company also have bike hire in Waterford and Dungarvan.

The Greenway is a spectacular 46km off-road cycling and walking trail along an old railway line, venturing from the quays of Waterford, a city founded by the Vikings, all the way through an area rich in Irish heritage to the historic port of Dungarvan, a vibrant seaside market town with a pretty quay-side setting. You can join the Greenway in Kilmacthomas (roughly halfway between Waterford and Dungarvan) near the Bike Hire place, just a five minute walk from The Corner House.
