Xixa is Williamsburg restaurant from husband-and-wife duo chef Jason Marcus and Heather Heuser (also of nearby Traif) offering globally inspired modern Mexican cuisine. Dishes like tempura squash blossoms and spicy shrimp gorditas are complemented by a beverage program that showcases the essences of Mexico’s classic drinks: agave, hops, and grapes.
Same owners as Traif, incredibly delicious Latin American food with an upscale twist. Margarita bombs are also a must!
Top fine dining restaurant in NYC with very reasonable prices. Definitely get the big plates, especially the short ribs and duck.
“Try the chefs tasting menu (reasonably priced!) and you’ll be stuffed to the gills ~ solid Williamsburg standby.”
“One of the best Italian restaurants is less than block away !! Great value and super nice staff.”
“Thai staples and Southeast Asian cuisine inside an elaborately decorated, transformed Williamsburg warehouse.”
“BrisketTown 'Cue savant Daniel Delaney—who gained a cultish following with his online venture, Brisketlab—serves Central Texas–style smoked meat at this roadhouse joint. Inspired by Southern grocery shops, Delaney outfitted the counter-service spot with handmade benches and a glowing neon sign. The toque pulls pork and beef ribs, brisket and sausage from an ancient wood-fired smoker, which burns timber shipped in from the Lone Star State. Stuff your meat in a soft slice of homemade white bread, and get a salad or coleslaw on the side. Local and rare bottled beers are on offer, as well as Blue Bottle drip coffee. ”
