Great place for families. Swings etc for the children and, in the summer, miniature railway for the children. The pond is used by miniature boat enthusiasts. Small coffee shop.
Good for kids and walking, small friendly cafe within the park with easy parking.
Barshaw Park has is a good place to walk around with children or dogs, there are good tarmac paths and a pond, there is also a great new play area for children that has recently been built.
“A fantastic Steak restaurant located in one of Paisley’s oldest buildings. The steak, steak pie and fish & chips are all personal favourites. The lunch (seven days) and pre theatre (monday to friday) deals are great value but A La Carte can be quite pricey. Friday and Saturday evenings will need a booking. ”
“The Canal Station pub and restaurant is a good place for a quiet drink or meal any time of the day. At the weekend there is occasionally entertainment on until around 11-11.30pm.”
“Great place for some traditional Italian food, family owned and reasonably priced.”

“Paisley Abbey, Scotland, was founded in the 12th century as a Monastery of the Cluniac Order. Monks came from Shropshire, England, to establish the Monastery. The Abbey has a gift shop and a coffee shop. It is open from 10.00 am to 3.30 pm daily but best to check that before going. ”
