This is a traditional German restaurant on the lovely Gendarmenmarkt square in Mitte - if you want something more upmarket. Great Schnitzel and wine - also pricey though.

For a very nice GERMAN restaurant, I recommand the famous Lutter&Wegner on the beautiful Gendarmenmarktplatz, classic, very good wines, arount 20 EUR per person
