An historic hotel... Washington did actually sleep here! Just 20 miles up the highway into Princess Anne the county seat of Somerset County. The meals here are good, prices reasonable and they occasionally have entertainment. Open for Lunch and dinner. Combine dinner here with a visit to the Historical Society and Teackle Mansion which has been recently renovated. All in walking distance. Also can be combined with events at the UMES Ella Fitzgerald Center for the Performing Arts. Makes for a nice day or evening.

Great value breakfast, lunch and dinners served. Breakfast seven days from 7 am to 10 am and lunch and dinner Wednesday through Sunday inclusive.

Great food, great bar, live music, classy and casual. Music events many times a week in the large bar. Great chef with creative food and simple fish and chips. Lovely old restored inn with lots of charm.
