These are the trails I recommend the mot and personally visit at least 2-4 x a week! It's one of the very few places on the island you can go for a hike! These trails are very well marked and if you wanted to, they could take you hours.

Mountain bikers and hikers share the trails that weave alongside the Bonshaw River. Amenities include picnic tables and an adventure playground. Dogs are permitted on leash.

This wonderful park has over 20 km of hiking and mountain biking trails. The park weaves through the forest along the West River and is a great location to visit year round. Pets are permitted on leash. Favourite Hiking trail = Howell's Hollow. Park in the lot on the MacKinnon Road (off the Riverdale Road) and walk down the field to this 3 km loop with boardwalks. Favourite Mountain Biking Trail(s) = all of them! But Elliot River Run is fast and flowy (both directions), and the Goat Trail is seriously technical for the expert MTBer! A unique playground is located in the main parking lot area, with picnic tables, a shelter and a toilet facility Visit the Tourism PEI website for more information

Hiking and cycling trails for all abilities. Kids will love the natural playground. There are also washrooms and cookhouses.
