Amazing museum for a very low price. Might not look like much from the outside but inside the museum spans over 4 floors and presents a large variety of local archaeological finds.

The Old Town Museum, housed in a building dating from the early 19th century, has permanent exhibits of archaeological and ethnographic collections, and on the ground floor of the museum is a lapidarium with valuable examples of stone plastic. The archaeological collection consists of objects found during archaeological excavations in Budva (Hellenistic gold, various vases, jewelry, decorations, tools, cutlery, glassware, clay, silverware ...) dating from the 5th century BC to the Middle Ages, bringing together the cultures of the Illyrians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantines and Slavs in this area. Gold earrings and a brooch featuring an eagle with a boy in his claws, which is related to the myth of Zeus and Ganymede, are especially valuable. The ethnographic collection contains items from this area from the 18th to the beginning of the 20th century. The archaeological collection has more than 1200 and the ethnological collection has 450 objects.
