2 hours from Dubbo. Enjoy fire oven pizza. Admire the pottery. Take a lesson in pottery making.

The Blue Wren café has excellent wood fired pizzas on offer at the Pilliga Pottery. They offer some nice walks around the area, pottery classes, camping facilities and a pool. This unique spot is definitely worth going to. It take you roughly 1hr to get there and is located off the highway to Coonabarabran.

Pilliga Pottery consists of a mudbrick workshop and showrooms and a bush cafe serving Devonshire teas. They are open seven days a week, tel: (02) 6842 2239. Head north-east towards Narrabri on the Newell Highway and take the signposted left 23 km from Coonabarabran.

Offers the most amazing Bush cafe....Woodfired Pizza, and the best place to go if you want German food in the Bush.... The pottery is pretty special as well.
