Definitely a worthwhile day trip - 1 hourish south - Winery up on a hill with pinic tables overlooking a field bottom - bonfires and music - cheese and wine for sale. If the weather is nice, I would definitely recommend.
This place is amazing during the summer...One of the only vineyards close to Nashville. Pack a lunch (or have it catered) and then head to Arrington. They have a tasting room and plenty of space to layout your picnic. Most weekends there is live music as you wine and dine on the hillside.
Pack a picnic lunch and buy some wine at the vineyard, the beautiful countryside and scenic drive out makes for a really lovely day. They have great live music as well!
“A scenic drive and a big southern breakfast. Arrive before 10am or expect to wait 1-2 hours. ”
“A casual, farmhouse style restaurant with home baked pies and other great food.”
“Amazing food and cocktails. They have a great old fashioned! Check their website for details on live music.”
