Buy your Public Transportation ticket via GVB. In the bus itself you can only buy small tickets instead of 1 or more days tickets.

Tram 12 stops around the corner from where you will stay. It takes you the the Museumsquare where you will find the Rijksmuseum, The Van Gogh museum and the Stedelijk Museum (modern art) Tram 14 also stops here and takes you to the famous Flea market 'Waterlooplein', the Rembrandtplein and the zoo 'Artis'
