Also known as Plaza de la Independencia, this lovely spot is filled with life! Surrounding the Plaza are famous sights including the Palacio del Gobierno and a huge cathedral where the presidents are buried. Wander around the Plaza and enjoy the variety of views. The buildings here are well-kept, and the center is always bustling!

La Plaza principal de Quito. Se encuentra el palacio de gobierno y varias iglesias alrededor.

La plaza donde se ubica el palacio de gobierno, la Catedral Metropolitana y el Municipio de la ciudad tiene paisajes pintorescos y está rodeada de almacenes y restaurantes, iglesias y museos que son un MUST en su visita en el centro histórico.
