Lovely outdoor courtyard if you can get a table in the sun on a summers day. Nice salady lunches.

Tucked away at the bottom of town this lovely café/ bistro is set within the courtyard of the once Old Coaching Inn, now Pastorale Antiques. The courtyard Cafe has the biggest garden seating area in Lewes. There's also a large seating area down in the cosy wine cellar.

Such a lovely place to eat. They have a huge garden courtyard and a cosy wine cellar. The cafe is in the courtyard of an antiques centre (Pastorale Antiques) Really great food, with a full and varied menu. It is a bit hidden away but definitely worth hunting it down. Walk to the end of Cliffe high street and turn left, then look out for the sign to Pastorale antiques.
