I grew up frequenting this beach. It is popular, but has plenty of space to set up a picnic to spend the day here. If you want to great beach experience, look no further than Seacliff.

Located at the end of State Park Drive, Aptos The beach is most known for the concrete ship, SS Palo Alto lying in the water at the end of the 50 foot pier. North of Seacliff State Beach is New Brighton State Beach. There is a walk way and picnic area for visitors.

Beautiful, long stretch of beach and path, great for beach BBQ's. Great for bike rides. Check out the Cement Ship (no, really).
