You're only a five minute walk away from one of the most beautiful parks in Pittsburgh! Just take a right out the door and another right on Beechwood. Ample room for hiking, running, lounging and picnicking.

Frick Park is home of The Blue Slide Park. There are also plenty of beautiful trails to go down into the woods where there are quaint overlook decks in the forest. The hiking loop is around 5 miles. During the summer time you'll find dozens of tadpoles springing into their froggy nature! If you're…

“Even if you’ve never heard of Andy Warhol (a Pittsburgh native!) it’s really fun to see all of the exhibits. The building itself is a wonderful piece of architecture.”

“This place is a hidden gem! Located right along the river, tucked back in Washington's Landing next to the boating dock, this place is only good for about 6 months out of the year. The patio seating is really the best part of going (not to say their food isn't good, but it's not THAT good that you want to freeze your butt off or sit inside and totally miss the view anyhow). Besides, they may not even be open during the winter months - who knows! Google, probably. Sometimes they even surprise you and have a little jam band outside under the string globe lights, in which case you really can't think of anywhere else in the world you'd rather be. Highly recommend!”
