The Dominion Arboretum is located at the Central Experimental Farm of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Originally begun in 1889 the Arboretum covers about 26 hectares of rolling land between Prince of Wales Drive, Dow's Lake and the Rideau Canal.

The arboretum is great for walks, cycling, and people watching year-round. In the summer it's a perfect place to pack a picnic, and in the winter it becomes a giant hill for tobogganing.

Want to just take a walk? Walk down Preston Street until you get to Dow's lake, go right, then you're in the Arboretum. Just a lovely place to walk is all.

Arboretum is full of many interesting trees. A great place to go for a stroll and check out Dow's Lake
