Beer mecca of central NC. specializing in belgians, rare and delicious craft beers and horrendously good times.
The old Raleigh Times newspaper building, downtown Raleigh, lovingly restored repurposed as a bar/restaurant by Greg Hatem. Great outdoor seating on the street and also on the rooftop. Definitely one of our downtown favorites!
A true Raleigh staple, located right in the middle of downtown Raleigh. The Raleigh Times is a great spot for casual dinner with good sandwiches and awesome starters. TIP: Eat on the rooftop.

“Big Ed's is one of the last original breakfast diners that actually feels like an old-school diner. It's part of City Market, one of the oldest areas in Downtown Raleigh. You'll enjoy cobble stone roads & walkways and fun historical pieces throughout the restaurant.”
“This is Ashley Christianson's first restaurant and truly all of her restaurants are superb! Pooles has the best comfort food and family style plates. Do not miss out on the mac and cheese when you come! One of our favorite date-nights is to put our name down at Poole's and then head over to Whiskey Kitchen for a drink while waiting for our table! ”
“The huge world globe and dinosaur Skelton are enticement enough. But much more to see inside and a great to way to learn about North Carolina. ”
