White Towns - The White Towns of Andalusia are a series of towns and large villages in the north of the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga in southern Spain. The villages are characterised by whitewashed walls and brown tiled roofs. These towns are an easy day-trip type of visit, generally offering in some cases hiking, rock-climbing, cycling and in some cases (Casares) a castle or museum to visit, not to mention the stunning vistas, and local cuisines. Amongst my favourites, Casares (Castle, museum and nature walk with guaranteed spotting of vultures), Grazalema, Zahara de la Sierra and Vejer de la Frontera, which really comes alive in the early evening!

Casares is a typical Andalusian white village, located in the southwest of the province of Málaga. Client recommendation: Found a lovely restaurant about 10 minute drive towards Casares called Vente Garcia. It is on the main road and a lovely ambience with great food.
